The quiet vote. Husband goes into to voting booth and pulls the lever for Trump instead of Kamala. Wife asks and he says yes dear I voted for Kamala.

The quiet vote? Could it happen? Maybe. The husband does what he thinks is best but does not tell the wife just to keep the peace in their marriage.

Did I tell you how the Iroquois did it?  There were a number of smaller tribes, I think five or six, that made up the greater Iroquois tribe.  The Founders got some of the idea for our government from the Iroquois, in that each of the smaller tribes elected their leaders (chiefs) and tended to their own affairs, like our states.  In matters between the smaller tribes, or dealing with outside tribes - war and trade and such - the entire council would meet.

Only men could serve on the council, but only women could vote for the chiefs.  If a chief voted in a way they disproved of, they would remove him and elect a replacement.

There was no single person in charge, no president, all chiefs had equal say and all matters had to be decided by unanimous agreement.  Which brings the filibuster to mind.  But if a chief held up the decision too long, the women could just replace him with someone who would follow the majority.

It’s no wonder the white men overcame them.

It's interesting to see how voting patterns have shifted over time. In my county, which voted 53% to 45% for Biden in 2016, Trump is now leading Harris in advanced voting by a margin of 55% to 43%. Most of the advanced votes are coming from in-person voting, which Trump is winning, while Harris has an edge in mail-in ballots. What’s surprising in the result change is that most early voters are women (and retirees).

One family friend is pouring her emotions out on Facebook about how Trump is a Nazi and will ban abortion.  It is fine to not vote Trump... but don't quote your reasons based on hoaxes.  I feel sorry for her husband.  I'm sure to get some shit for posting how to recognize misinformation on Facebook this morning... questioning the narrative will equate me to a Nazi to some people.   🤦‍♂️

I don’t know, but they’ve found no primitive drawings of salads.
