Well, he’ll be at Penn State from January to March.

Not reading anything into that other than he wants to train outside of Japan for a while.

I highly doubt he changes his training environment long term given the trajectory he is currently on. Especially given his limited English to put him in a state school on top of learning a new style of wrestling just does not seem like a great move for him other than NIL. I would assume Japan compensates him very well though.

He is already enrolled in school in Japan.

I don't think he's eligible for NIL. Transferring to the US would be a downgrade anyway, but he's more than welcome
