I guess the elephant in the room now in terms of discussion merit worthiness is Massoumi. Is he now better than Zare? Is there anyone active in the weight class better than him?

No there is no one. There's probably Tier 1 with Zare and Masoumi and then Tier 2 or even Tier 3 guys after that.

Zare vs Masoumi, --- Masoumi is yet to beat Zare .I think hes 0-3 or something.

It's much more than 3-0, isn't it?

I think the massoumi that lost to Zare has improved a lot. For example when lost to munkthur a couple of years ago he lost points which I thought were due to inexperience. He was very dominant yesterday against munukhtur. I think the past score  massoumi vs Zare is now not an indicator of what may happen in the future anymore.

What is the h2h then? I think Masoumi lost to Zare once at an international tournament and then a couple times internally?

I was asking.  I find it hard to believe there are only three matches between them.

Masoumi was a cadet in 2021. So.. 2022 , 2023 and 2024? Im not sure if it is exactly 3 times but it could be. Their matches aren't very memorable aside from the one where Masoumi tried to punk him lol

This from Iran's 2022 WTT -- Masoumi is what 17? lost 11-3. This is when he went a bit over the board with the shenanigans.

This is from ranking series last year. It's closer in terms of score, but not really.

I can't find the 3rd one.
