It was a phone held by the ladies and given to them to take a selfie and then given back to the girl. It didn’t look like it was expected.

Was thinking it could get awkward in the event of a controversial or heated final. Or just one of those where the silver medalist is crushed and crying on the podium.

Just saw again in the Women's 5k awards. Same kind of phone. Obviously, it is something official.
