Tracy McGrady once told a story about Kobe.

One offseason, apparently at a hotel, McGrady told Kobe that he was going to go work out.

Kobe responded by acting like he was crazy. “What are you going to work out for? We’re in the offseason. You don’t need to work out.”

McGrady eventually accepted that idea, went back to his room, changed, and relaxed for a bit. But after a short while he got antsy and decided to go lift.

And once he got in the weight room, he saw Kobe lifting.

it would appear that he lifted all throughout college but has not been lifting since thus he has decided that his physique Is not the result of lifting but in fact just wrestling.

His brother in the comments is suggesting it's superior genetics. I believe Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson also claimed to never lift weights. I'm not sure I believe any of them.

taylor said the same thing about when he was in college

Taylor was skinny and looked like somebody who didn't lift until he needed to bulk to 86kg. Brooks has been absolutely jacked.

So you believe Brooks achieved that by only wrestling. Got it

It's more likely God blessed him with the strength of 1000 men to solely strike down Yazdani and the false prophets he represents.

Yup, that's what you got in return.

Got news for you. Yazdani is stronger than Aaron Brooks. The question is endurance. I guarantee you that Yazdani will bull Brooks around the mat in the first minute or two.

I am not sure if I agree with this.

I think the obvious counter hypothesis is that he does actually lift

There are definitely genetic anomalies, but I don't think you can be a current day collegiate athlete and get away with not lifting even if you're Aaron brooks, I just don't think the coaches would allow it.

In the interview, he says “when I was on the college team I would lift”

This reminds me of RBY "I've never wrestled freestyle before"

I don't drink either. I mean I drank last weekend, but I don't drink. I liked it when I did drink though, it was cool. But I don't drink.
