Mizzou resting nearly their entire lineup and getting demolished by NIU 30-6 made me think: If PSU's starters were all unavailable, where wound PSU's 2nd team be ranked? How about Iowa? How about NU, and so on?

Are we counting redshirts?  If not, as much love as some of PSU’s backups have gotten, I doubt they’d crack the top 20 or so (which of course is still impressive).

Barraclaugh and Cochran look like they’d have a good shot at AA’ing, and maybe Evans, but that’s about it.

But if you count redshirts you can add Facundo and Barr.

Lean Mean Gary Steen or Bob Howard could get it together and AA. Don't pretend otherwise.

No. Howard, unfortunately, is probably on the verge of an early retirement and Gary Steen is far from an AA contender

Gary Steen doesn't all american unless every other team is starting backups

Crazy to me that Kurt McHenry only has 18 total D1 matches in 5 years (with 11 of them last season).  I know he’s small, but he shouldn’t be losing to a true freshman from Binghamton

Resting?  I don't think injuries and illness constitute resting.

I just assumed nearly all the starters were held out to rest up. Oops! I let my FLO subscription lax (and they'll never see another cent of mine again) and couldn't see the interview with Smith 😞
