Second, Mark Churella wrestled 18 matches on the frontside of the bracket on his way to a 3/1/1/1(without a RS season). 18 matches on the front-side, 8 pins and 140 points scored in the 10 matches that he didn't pin his guy for an average of 14 points per match. One son that pinned Johnny Hendricks in the finals despite losing in what is not at all a controversial match and was a 3X AA and another son who was a 3X AA...both wrestled in the finals. The early guys are disadvantaged by having very small brackets causing them to lose out on advancement points. That is why I have a per match calc. New entrants to the list this year were Austin O'Connor (60.5), Carter Starocci (67), Aaron Brooks (68), and Roman Bravo-Young (68).
