Nah. the fam was assured gold and silver.  Little bro could have easily MF'd to let big bro have the title, .....but they are ...wrestlers.  If there was any angst for the parents, it was hoping that neither got seriously injured.... or embarrassed.

I’m sure they both had their hearts set on a national title. So knowing one of your sons is going to be heartbroken while the other son wins a national championship over him has to be tough. At least the younger bro has another year to get his title. If he wins it all next year, it will sting a lot less!

The older brother Nathan had a less than standout high school career for a national champion: 31-13 overall, 2-6 as a senior, never wrestled in the PIAA postseason.  Now a 2x D3 champion that has not only lost 0 D3 matches the past two seasons, but also has given up 0 TDs, 0 NFs, and 0 reversals to D3 wrestlers over the past two seasons.  He was also 6th at the 2022 Midlands where he lost his only matches in that time period.
