No clue why, but I was curious whatever happened to that kid from Wisconsin that got a flagrant misconduct overturned by a judge.

Apparently, he wrestles at Illinois now.

  • 4 time state finalist (2x champion, 1 at Burlington and 1 at Waterford, 1x second, and 1x third).

2+1+1+1 = 5 then that 1x third, maybe they missed one  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

😉

PS: guess if you have a true 2nd place you could be in the finals and get third?

This stuff is probably written by some student intern (no idea, just a wild guess). I've noticed that roster bios are not incredibly well proofread across the board, but in particular for Illinois. That said, sometimes high school competition is referred to as "state finals" like the final leg of the state series. Not great in wrestling because we see the finals as the championship bout of an elimination tournament.
