Sportsbooks opened a few hours ago with Merab as the favorite - but after money came into Vegas, Henry's no longer the underdog Bo looked slow in the training footage he released - I think he might have the same problem as Henry with gassing out if he doesn't finish Max early Carr hasn't faced real competition in a hot minute, and I think he's going to lose Edited August 20 by RAFWiki .
LJB Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Getting a look at Ono again is far and away the most interesting match on the card… he ran through Japanese nationals, but, not sure of the level of competition so hard to make any real sense of where he is at now… Davino should give a much better idea… Nikal and Mcenelly could be really fun… Khinchegashvili and Mendez same… 1

LJB Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Gonna have to come clean here… Years ago I was around JB enough to respect him as a competitor but just not like him as a person… I have been friends with those who competed against him… friends with those who helped him do some things while he was still competing… none of us particularly liked him… even when he first stopped competing sone things he did and said annoyed the shit out of me on a personal level… in the last year or so I have seen his interviews that have made me rethink how I view him as a person… when an athlete is competing it is an entirely selfish thing and an athlete has to do some things that may not seem “normal” to most… Just finished watching the RAF press conference and I can’t help but say I am a JB fan now and am excited to see him compete… 1

Jordan's bringing in 100 of his students to watch him wrestle tomorrow, and 30 of them (including this son) are competing in the RAF NextGen tournament this weekend. JB and DiJulius should do a podcast together or something - easily the smartest guys in whatever room they're in, and their students will go on to do great things .

RAFWiki Posted August 22 Author Posted August 22 Kennedy Blades vs. Reese Larramendy has been added to the card Diana Avsaragova pulled out of her match with Blades for unknown reasons - she did interviews a couple days ago but missed the press conference yesterday, so I'm assuming she's sick 1 .

It's not optimal, but I would think the college athletes would at least be more reliable than some of the World Team members RAF let Hildebrandt dick around and duck out of a bunch of matches for the better part of 10 months, and then they finally stripped her belt when she got hurt NCAA wrestlers can't compete between the first day of their academic year (roughly August 20th-September 1st) and November 1st. They also can't compete during the NCAA regular season unless it's during a break. So basically November to January for Christmas break, March to April for spring break, and then July to August for summer break is their window to use college wrestlers Edited August 22 by RAFWiki .
