Wouldn't he need to wait a year for eligibility? 

This is what I thought. Him being enrolled vs him actually wrestling as soon as this week are two very different things.

I don't know for sure, but this would probably be his last window, as it's his sixth year of collegiate wrestling.

At this point, he's not listed on the roster, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
