  1. Past hour
  2. Certainly a fair question, and agree something to watch as time goes on. Productivity standpoint, I believe there’s pluses and minuses for both depending on the issue. I’m much a fan of a cleaner border than what was going on in the last administration, although I don’t buy into all the hype we were being fed into the last election (for example fentanyl was the big MAGA buzzword in ‘24 but the facts are that those drug deaths were down 37% in ‘24). I’m also wasn’t a fan of all of the extreme DEI and trans practices that were being allowed. I’m all for DEI in terms of getting minorities opportunity to interview and “try out” for jobs, but at the end of the day the most qualified person should get the job. But…again…I’m not sure most qualified is the best term to describe this administration’s hires, but at least in a nationwide setting that appears to be cleaned up a bit. Economy wise, I give weight to the fact that Biden came in right after the world shut down, and I completely expected a significant rise in inflation once things fully opened again. I’m no economist, but common sense could tell you that the corps were going to make up for their losses. And, given that, the economy was being handled pretty well over the last couple years of the administration. I know those who only see things through party colored glasses are going to argue that, but again the facts don’t agree with that hype. International affairs, well I don’t see much change. I mean we can make a big todo about the Sudan and Congo, but how much impact does that have on the world stage? Ukraine and Isreal, well they’re just as much a mess as they were in Dec ‘24, and the leaders of Russia and Isreal don’t seem to respect this president…when it comes to action…than they did the previous. And as for overall health and decline. Biden was definitely complete mush by the time we got to 2024. No doubt about it. But I don’t know that he was behind in summer of ‘21 where Trump is now. Democrats did the right thing getting him out of the election, although they did it for the wrong reason. Not for the good of the country, but for the sake of winning the election, and they went with wrong candidate. I don’t think MAGA would do the same, unless he declines so much that he is not able to threaten those who might go against him. Still very early, I think the key is what you said in your post, very much things to watch for sure.
  3. You sure know a lot about how many followers people have on social media sites. I 100% have zero idea who that person is. That’s even if they’re real.
  4. Actually that account has over 900k followers, and they’re saying it directly. But I thought it was funny that @Caveira posted a tweet from them the other day with “people are saying” and didn’t even provide an example. So literally nobody, not even someone nobody has ever heard of.
  5. This it’s all for show. They’ve already done most of it.
  6. Gerrymandering has no effect on statewide races, genius. You’re making our point.
  7. He met Putin in Alaska, was on the phone most of the six hour flight back - exiting the plane was held up because he was still on the phone when they landed around three or four in the morning, then he was on the golf course around noon. He’s slowing down,, huh?
  8. One of those internet nobodies you keep talking about. Seems eerily familiar to to what you’re using as your argument for Sydney
  9. They’re there to serve and protect. They’re participating in some arrests now when in the vicinity. They’ll carry weapons to protect themselves, and deal with flag burners and such, I suppose. It’s law and order, and that’s not abnormal for the NG. It may be coming to a city near you soon, no matter how much you squeal.
  10. 24 of the last 34 years Massachusetts has had a Republican governor. Top notch research.
