  1. Finalized Final X matchups looks like: 57- Lee - Lilledahl 61- Vito - Forrest 65- McKenna - Woods 70- Yianni - Duke 74- MM - Carr 79- Wick - Haines 86- Valencia - Dake 92- Hidlay - Barr 97- ?? - Zillmer 125- Hendrickson - Hillger
  2. would love to see dake at his natural birth weight of 125kg, before he's de-aged to his current weight
  3. damn that was an interesting watch. from the audio, doesn't sound like there'll be much in the way of legal consequences; i think the officer said likely a fine and a course for johns. also crazy that kyle had his dick out while they were cuffing him. def not a good look. they were clearly worried at first cause he's built like a sh*thouse, but it seemed like he was trying to be polite & respectful. cray cray
  4. hmmm, i don't think you know as much about the sex work industry as you think you do. maybe where we're disagreeing here (i'm trying to understand your viewpoint in good faith) is you think the majority of sex workers are coerced, whereas in my experience, this seems impractical and the vast majority are willing participants for whom sex work is a positive outlet for them. either way, agree to respectfully disagree.
  5. i don't think you read or understood my post. the second part I explained this likely wasn't his first time. but the more annoying thing is that you're trying to say that 95% of the sex work industry is harmful (which is not what I said at all) and is instead just plain rubbish. i said that legalizing and regulating the sex work industry would mitigate 95% of the harmful aspects – this is completely different from saying that 95% of the industry is harmful :sigh:
  6. as someone who has a family member who's a sex worker, imho sex work should be legalized and regulated which would cut down on 95% of the harmful aspects of sex work (trafficking, ties to organized crime, etc). but whatever, it is what it is and snyder did this in the US so it's likely a misdemeanor and a legal slap on the wrist. if he's looking up ads online and going to a random hotel, it's very likely not his first rodeo. feel bad for his family unless they have an open relationship, but given his vocal religious views, that seems unlikely. i think the more important questions as they relate to this wrestling board: will snyder still be eligible for final X & world team? if snyder is in (i'd assume so until hearing otherwise), how will this affect his performance? i'm guessing there'll be more serious repercussions reputation & community-wise than on the legal side of things.. will he still be able to perform at the same level? will god still have his back? if snyder is out, how would this affect team USA worlds prospects? replacing snyder with Aiello or maybe a 92kg moving up?
  7. yep; https://www.themat.com/news/2025/april/22/senior-men-s-freestyle-seeds-released-for-2025-claw-u-s-open-championships
  8. i don't see mcfadden on the seeds https://www.themat.com/news/2025/april/22/senior-men-s-freestyle-seeds-released-for-2025-claw-u-s-open-championships
  9. not knocking any of the other competitors ofc i'm going w/ hendrickson over zillmer cause he has momentum and has improved a ton this past year blaze's matches w/ fix & gross were both razor thin last time. 61kg's prolly the deepest weight 79kg and 92kg are both relatively weak compared w/ the other weights which is a bit concerning for usa's team title chances come worlds. i'm hoping whoever loses at 86 & 74 bumps up to challenge the gaps really hope we get to see carr vs mesenbrink at 74kg
  10. my picks: 57: Lilledahl 61: Blaze 65: Mendez 70: Yianni 74: Mesenbrink 79: Hamiti 86: Dake 92: Hidlay 97: Snyder 125: Hendrickson
  11. he's on flo's latest entry list https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/13994872-2025-us-open-senior-level-wrestling-entries but no idea if that's accurate or not
  12. the last time dake wrestled zahid at 79kg (2018):
  13. yeah, would've loved to see Dake contend for another world title at 79kg.. but then again, I'm not the one who has to make weight i feel like this is zahid's time to shine w/ taylor in the room pushing him at osu. i expect it'll be a lot closer btwn zahid & dake; just hope we get to see this match. agreed, if zahid loses, would love to see him contend at 92kg again
  14. also, any idea why brooks and dake didn't accept their final X bids? is dake because he's moving up in weight?
