    I think he'd be there now. This is a bit of a cheap shot but in HS he missed weight at Ironman while wrestling for Wyoming Seminary who was looking for the title and #1 ranking.....if he hasn't had a lot personal growth he ain't much for weight cutting.

    Thats a great point. I don't think Arnold has anything to lose by wrestling, Brands looking to make sure they're justified in shoving him into the portal makes sense from this angle....

    i'm not sure anyone has said Brands isn't allowed to determine the lineup.

    The only reason they wouldn't is if they were just determined to keep kennedy in the lineup. If Arnold and Ferrari can't make 174, one has to hit the road unless one can go 197, but that seems like a stretch cause Arnold is 3'5 and Ferrari looked tiny against starocci. Maybe Ferrari is adamant about wanting to redshirt?

    Everyone knows its not his call, like he did when he "called out" starocci. But sense that was either an attempt to strong arm his way into the dual, or (more likely) an attention grab he knew he wouldn't have to back up, I'm pretty sure he should get roasted some.

    This is the best dual of the year right? Anyone who wants to take OSU and thinks I'm truthworthy enough to make a $ bet message me privately. I've only met Vak but I'm sure he's betting on Iowa.

    No program is gonna pay a guy more who says "i didn't do anything last year because I was keeping my nose clean and the team sucked so I didn't care about winning". Imho no way sittng out makes him money.

    that win isn't but the aggregate is insanely dominant. You might as well watch someone clear his collar and say "Look he just got owned. Thats not dominant."

    The only way he isn't dominant is in the "imagine what a five time champ would like sense". He's gonna have the flashiest cred in the history of NCAA wrestling, but is only gonna get brief polite mentions in GOAT discussions.
