    I see. I assumed everyone always bitched about it because it was still run through the VA. You said up above that the VA is for people that don't have tri care. So am I correct in saying that if you only served 4 years you wouldn't have tri care after you were done? That is someone that either gets private insurance or has to go to the VA?

    Lucky dude. I am unaware of any company that does retiree medical and pension anymore. I used to work for AIG and they did away with that back in 2012 I think.
