For all you PSU people crying foul about how low it was of Shapiro and he's a hater, your boy Bo Nickal went on the biggest podcast in the world (JRE) and said the reason he lost to the Iranian is cuz the guy was juiced to the gills. Said it was obvious. What evidence did he have other than he felt his strength and looked at him? Same thing here. And it's obvious our wrestlers are using too, if we can go head to head with nations that are obviously doping like Russia. To believe our guys can compete with roid raging Russians just cuz we like our steaks is naive and asinine. Lemme get some of Mr Kasak's home grown beef, doubt it drastically changes my hormone profiles like it did for Kasak and Barr.

I'm sure the doctors are telling him that big weight cuts are a no no if he wants to fix his concussion issues as well. I think they asked him if he plans on going 165, he said he can probably go 149, but he doesn't wanna cut a ton of weight, and some guys, well they may or may not do steroids to get to their weight. No wonder 50% of our athletes are bald af by the time they're 25. Based on athletes on X chiming in, testing is extremely rare, like less than a handful of tests over their entire college career.

I think you're underthinking it. Do all of the army, airforce, navy wrestlers bring flags out when they wrestle? It made for a good storyline and hyped the match up, that's why it was done.

I mean, I can see why. Imagine you're out there wrestling, you're an Olympic champ for the USA, and the guy you're facing shows up rocking USA like he's Rocky and you're Drago.

I wouldn't say it's poor sportsmanship to give him crap when he's literally an Olympic Champion repping that same flag. You usually rep a flag when you're competing against an adversary from another nation, not another national hero.

I searched NCAA wrestling on Twitter and EVERYTHING that came up was Trump posts, so I think it is good for visibility either way

Honestly, much more insightful interviews than in the past. Talking about the mentality, talking about the process, talking about their coaches, talking about the team around them. For years it felt like the interviews were: "How impactful were your parents after all their sacrifices?" - "Jesus did it, all glory to him" "What'd you do to prepare for his heavy handfighting?" - "All glory to God" "That was a gritty escape, how'd you pull it off?" - "Jesus conquers all evil, including false prophets" I don't have a problem with them being religious, but glad to hear some actual insightful WRESTLING responses. With that being said, anyone know where to catch their sit down interviews after the fact?

I'm just effin around, saw a few people on Twitter getting pretty deep into it though. I think it's more likely that Wyatt just kicked some ass tonight, but thinking back on it, everything was pretty storybook ending right there. Made for tv type moments. I loved it either way. I doubt anyone would pay serious bucks to for somebody to lose an NCAA final.
