  1. Yeah a lot of successful wrestler/grapplers in MMA are very physical. They stay on the gas, pressure, mix in strikes during those exchanges, they're explosive, and they stay in the opponent's face from the beginning. Examples of this would include Khamzat, Khabib, Merab, and Oliveira. Even the wrestler/grapplers who don't pressure as much, like Islam, Evloev, and Aljo Sterling are still really physical in grappling exchanges. Nickal looked to be pretty relaxed, took his time, and just wasn't as physical in those exchanges just like he was in his previous couple fights. de Ridder was on the gas that whole fight whereas Bo seemed to just be reacting, which is exhausting.
  2. Sure, I guess I should've been more specific. Most fighters will lose most of that 25lbs within 72 hours of weigh-ins.
  3. To be fair, Bo was reacting that way because of the body shots. de Ridder was lighting Bo's liver up before that exchange where Bo had his hands down in the clinch. He was trying to protect his body. Even high level UFC fighters will react that way to clean liver shots. Look at Jeremy Stephens vs Jose Aldo, Brandon Moreno vs Kai Kara France, Barbosa vs Hooker, the list goes on.
  4. Yeah UFC fighters cut a ton of weight since they weigh in a day before the fight. Gives them plenty of time to hydrate and get their energy back. I would estimate that most 185lb fighters cut around 25lbs the week of the fight. 185lb champ, Dricus Du Plessis, walks around 230lbs outside of training camp.
  5. Responding Officer, Nic Boozeakis
  6. Gotta be mindset for Tate. He major'd Sax last year, then got pinned by him, and then beat him 8-4. He lost to Brayden Thompson 9-0 and then beat him 5-2, lost to Cramer 16-5 and then beat him 7-2 two days later. I hope he can figure it out in his final year, he's a fun wrestler to watch.
  7. I would not be surprised at all if some athletes are utilizing compounds like retatrutide or cagrilintide for fat loss. Ozempic in wrestling would likely just result in an overall loss in mass, not just fat.
  8. Would these peptides not show up on a drug test?
  9. He left because of the North Carolina girls. Simple.
  10. Rocky Elam posted on X saying something along the lines of "I think y'all will be surprised" at around 1:00AM CT and then deleted it. I feel like that rules out Rutgers and Iowa. I don't know why I feel like its NC State.
  11. Figs is a good pick up.
  12. Hepner to North Carolina.
  13. Figs to OK State now official. According to Minnow
  14. Will likely be battling with Hughes for the starting spot. There's a possibility of Tagen returning to that weight but I'm not sure if he can make 141 again.
  15. I think Dee is going 165.
