    here's my take on it

"How can anyone justify a win by criteria with a 1-1 score, both scores coming via the shot clock"

How can any wrestler blame anyone but themselves when they did absolutely nothing to score?

if you lose a shot clock match, that's a you problem.

    2. How can anyone justify a win by criteria with a 1-1 score, both scores coming via the shot clock. Look at J'den Cox's lone win and tell me he deserved the victory. Happens too often especially in Greco. And the sad thing is that most often the first guy put on the clock is the main Staller, but obligatory shot call to the other guy comes in the 2nd pd, and he loses even when he's more active.

Side note- ugliest win in the tournament McKenna vs Bartlett (must watch)

We used to have 1-1 matches at the end of nine minutes, and then the three officials get together, burn a spliff, and decide who wins.

As soon as there is a point on the board, you know (or should know) you are winning or losing.  You know (or should know) whether you need to hold or whether you need to score.  There's no its not fair here.

(PS- passivity is not judged based on activity, it is based on holding center)

They have been showing them saying those things on TV news outlets for last 4 or 5 days. Just quoting what the protestors are saying. I assume you have not seen it. It would be easy to find on the internet. Just checked out YouTube . Saw 40 videos in about 10 seconds but there are a lot more videos.

Don’t answer my question, but thank you for the time.

It seems like these protests are escalating. There are about 50 protests going on right now on college campuses across the country. There are arrests being made and there is a lot of news coverage. The protestors are shouting death to Israel and death to America. What say you.

When you say “the protestors are shouting….death to America”. Do you mean the majority of the protestors in all 50 protests are shouting it, or someone on Twitter said they heard someone heard say….?

  4. In fairness, Florida didn't take away heat breaks.  Florida passed a bill that said localities can't pass their own laws, and must follow the state and federal standards on safe working environments.

  5. Maybe, and I'm just spit balling here, but maybe the point is we could go on all day and talk about the atrocities committed by illeagel immigrants, legal immigrants, born citizens, white, black, hispanic, etc etc etc.   But nothing is going to get done as long as we only worry about the small pieces of the puzzle our 'leaders' on our side tell us to be mad about...

You sir ARE an expert smoker though.  Going to be in your state next week and bringing my brothers smoker over to our Airbnb...have brisket and pork belly burnt ends on the menu so far, along with teres majors and tenderloins (just grilled).  May do a pork butt.

Sounds like a pretty nice couple days. Where in Florida?
I haven’t done a day at the smoker in a few months.

It was easy to see what was necessary to avoid an airborne virus when we saw the suits worn by the level 4 lab techs and learned that a decontamination process was required to remove them.

I'm just saying it's more entertaining than those weeks when everyone is an expert on the climate, or immigration weeks, basically out of all the times everyone is an expert on that week's hot topic, virology has been the most fun.

1st. Too much to type out.

What I don't like: a focus on winning as the goal. So much is lost, sacrificed, or abandoned in the quest to win. You're a bad coach if your athletes' only focus is winning a match. Kids should be kids. Teach them how to enjoy a stressful, yet very temporary situation and to find the benefits of working and executing in the absence of getting a hand raised. Their worth is not tied to how many points they can score for the team.

2nd. How do you define 'successful' or 'highly probable'(cuz if you can nail down a probability for certain characteristics to be successful in this sport you should either sell it for a boat load or share it)?

Just getting their hand raised? I do not subscribe to that definition. So I feel we would be talking past each other.

A successful wrestlers gets out of the sport what they want. That's it. Maintain their fitness and flexibility. Learn some situational awareness. Maybe how to function better/more effectively in a various stressful environments. Use their imagination to see clear and efficient solutions to complex problems before they've even arisen.

Up and down the spectrum of success. Plenty of people have gotten what they wanted out of very few wins and I'll bet there are plenty that would admit they wish they could go back and take a different path despite quite a bit of 'success'. I'm one of them.

Care to answer those questions yourself?

    Hope it helps.

That’s an awful long post of stuff you don’t like; to say you don’t want to type what you do like because it’s too much.

You need find some joy in your life. Your are looking for things to find wrong, and looking for misery. Choose enjoyment and happiness, be grateful for what you have. You literally were just asked to post your positives, and refused so you could focus more on your negatives. Not a good vibe for life.
