Has the 3pt takedown making it easier to achieve bonus points affected this year’s total? I remember a match where Davis was ahead by 1 and guy goes for broke and Davis ends up with td and backs to win by 8. Just one example I could think of but as you can see it could add up. Because of all the scrambling you don’t see hardly anyone shoot unless there’s 30 seconds left on the clock because it takes forever to finish… wastes so much of the match guys staring at each other. Makes for a bad product imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m all for Hendrickson winning the hodge and he’s up there with Messenbrink as the most dominant on the year. But isn’t one of the criteria past accomplishments? I remember that being a big argument when Dieringer won the hodge and everyone thought it shoulda been Zain. 5xer going through the returning Champ is pretty impressive, what he did last year on a bum knee pretty impressive. I think most people just don’t like the change and would rather keep it in the regular order of matches. I would like to see the numbers of increasing viewership by trying to cater to the casual fan. IMO catering to the casual fan instead of making it better for the diehards that are going to watch no matter what makes a better product.
