  1. Oscar Wood mentioned and I remember his brother Isaac being maybe more hyped. I could be misremembering but I thought Cody was more hyped than Cael. David Kjeilgaard and Scott Schatzman. Jim Johnson and Johnny McGee from Ohio.
  2. Didn’t Pat Lynch AA wrestling for Georgia State?
  3. Are we certain PK can’t beat Arnold?
  4. No chance Davino makes 125 and goes right away? Seems like that would really solidify top half of lineup (Davino, Bouzakis, Mendez, DD, Paddy).
  5. Vince Bouzakis just committed. Maybe he knew that was coming?
  6. Team race below 1 should be fun. In addition to the teams you mentioned, Virginia Tech, Michigan, and Iowa State also have the potential to put together a late season run. I would say IA slight favorite to be #2 but if betting I’d definitely take the field.
  7. I attended Clemson’s Women Gymnastics first ever home meet Friday. College wrestling programs can learn something from how the Tigers promoted their women’s gymnastics team. They plastered social media with videos and info about their athletes. Their coach was charismatic and generated a ton of energy and excitement for fans. They made it a fun event and the athletes spent much time in the lobby afterwards taking pictures and signing autographs for hundreds of excited future gymnasts. End result was over 8,000 in attendance. I initially went to take my daughter who is 9 and has participated in gymnastics for 5 years, but I left searching for season tickets for my family. Wrestling can do this too.
  8. Maybe it will encourage addition of wrestling from remaining Ivies? Dartmouth and Yale, time to bring back wrestling.
  9. While Martin and NaTo had best NCAA finish as freshman, there is no doubt they improved. This is especially true for Martin. He was substantially better by the end of his career.
  10. Southeast. Charlotte would be nice. There are 7 D1 wrestling programs in NC and another 3 (I think) in SC. Good weather, nice uptown are, etc. Georgia would also be great. Maybe in the Atlanta area?
  11. @MPhillips I like Bouzakis but I don’t envision him having same productivity next year as Jesse did this year. I think Rogotzke will battle Shumate to start right away at 184. I also expect - and this could just be wishful thinking - Kilkeary to be the starter at 125. I think Geog going over Hoffman makes sense for many reasons, even if he is slightly behind Gavin currently. Hopefully by next year that’s changed though. I'm with you on Feldman. Great potential but he will need some work. Next year will be a great year for him to get on the job training.
  12. Not challenging you, just curious if you’ve seen or heard anything recently suggesting this to be the case. With the way they both looked the final month of the season, I’m really hoping for more of the same and at the same weights next year. Paddy has been frustrating, but i’m not ready to give up on him as a productive 157. Next year will be interesting. I think it’s a team that may struggle early at some weights but im hoping to see lots of development throughout the year. Thinking 125, 133, 184, 197 (if it’s Geog) and Heavy could all be weights where young guys take some lumps early but hopefully they put it together for the post season.
  13. Since he already transferred once, would he not lose a year if he were to transfer again?
