I was born there but raised in Iowa then Minnesota. My father sold out some time in the 70s. He had some other businesses in both Iowa and Minnesota. He also ran a bunch of dealerships for a guy who was actually the Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska. My dad was a good salesman and a real ball buster. We moved around a lot. We lived in Milwaukee, Madison, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Minneapolis. We moved back and forth between those cities. Dads still alive and kicking and sharp as ever.

What you call the far right is what America has been for it's entire existence, and because you guys hate that you try to burn everything down. There is still no way you can draw the conclusion that he is saying being gay is an assault on marriage. It just isn't in that comment. He may be speaking about gay marriage but he isn't saying what you claim. BTW lots of people feel that way. You embrace immigrants who come from countries that actually kill gays but celebrate the murder of a man who hold a basic Christian view of marriage. There is no continuity to your logic other than you always oppose Christianity.

A quick word search tells me Charlie isn't mentioned in the article. Nothing there clarifies his comment. It's not even mentioned.

The schools teach what the state mandates. You can laugh but it's still true. This has been the case for years around here.
