Many people who are formally diagnosed deny their condition and seek out alternate coping methods - religion is always the first method they fall into. I like all the two-faced prefacing of comments on here with "I want RAF to succeed, but..." This board is generally Team USA fans, so I kind of get it. They're mad RAF is no longer being used to exclusively promote Team USA. But Americans celebrating and/or downplaying Sadulaev's injury because it makes Snyder look better was shitty. And it's still happening.

I know the overlap between RAF truthers/Sadulaev injury deniers is high, but come on man After Sadulaev got hurt, the backup plan was for Snyder to wrestle Khaniev at RAF Moscow. But then Khaniev got knocked out of World Team contention in embarrassing fashion to Kurbanov, and I'm not sure what's going on with him. I'm assuming he's in Team Russia's doghouse.

The plan was always for Snyder-Sadulaev to happen at both RAF Georgia and RAF Moscow - that obviously changed after Sadulaev got hurt Sadulaev said in an interview yesterday that he'll do a RAF rematch with Snyder after Worlds - not sure if it happens before the end of the year

They weren't planning on expanding so soon - it was a happy accident. I think the only other time they considered an international event was earlier in the year when Colby was trying to make a match with GSP happen, and they looked into booking a venue in Canada.

The *only* reason RAF started doing international events is because the United States hasn't approved Sadulaev's visa, and he can't get into the United States. RAF Georgia and RAF Moscow wouldn't have happened if Sadulaev's visa had been approved. And RAF Georgia only happened because Sadulaev was supposed to headline RAF 09 in Bahrain, but they had to move it back to America for safety reasons. But I guess RAF should just let Sadulaev sit home and pay him large amounts of money for nothing. They took lemons and made lemonade.

Kinopoisk paid them to stream the event in Russia. It was simulcast for free on YouTube to every country outside of the US. They sold out the arena in Moscow. Americans were never the target audience here.
