  1. I will root for the Terps, but I expect a shutout, and that's assuming at least a backup or two from PSU
  2. For five minutes I realized what life would be like if I were, in any way, interesting. If I had anything to say for myself, if I did anything. But I didn't do anything. And in about 30 seconds she'd know and she'd be gone like a shot. "So what do you do?" "I'm sort of taking a bit of time off at the moment." "Sounds good, yeah. Yeah. Time off from what?" "To be absolutely honest, time off from time off, in fact. The interesting thing about me is I don't actually do anything." "You don't do anything? "Actually, no. Nothing. Nope. "Wow. That's... "Now, Rachel, darling. East Coast or West Coast rap? I have absolutely no..." There. She was gone. There was no more to say
  3. Thankfully its rare that someone who earns the level of national champion acts like such a fool. I am personally not thinking this is a system issue, but more of a one off exception of how it sucks
  4. 133, 197, and 285, are the only matches that are guaranteed. Lots of possibility among the other weights
  5. I don't know if anyone else realized this but Darrien Roberts transferred quietly from Oklahoma to Morgan State and is using a redshirt this year.
  6. Korbin Myers did 5 already and anyone else who happened to be using a red shirt during the 2020 season may have been able to do it
  7. So embarrassing for that poor kid.
  8. This is actually a good wager for the next friendly board bet. Loser buys a Tarleton Tshirt for the winner
  9. I self pinned once in my life, and it took me until the moment of not getting my hand raised to realize what happened. Spladle gone wrong
  10. For current wrestlers, Dustin Plott has 17 NCAA matches wrestled and has two tournaments left to go. Lucas Byrd has 20 with two tournaments left to go.
  11. Just based on bracket math - even if you lose in the first round and come back for third place, isn't that only seven wins? So you'd need to be in the pigtail round also
  12. I thought it depends on how much money is raised but I haven't been keeping track
  13. Mat Town Wrestling Club is the name of the regional training center based in Lock Haven. They also host tournaments called Mat Town Open so I guess they gave that nickname to themselves
  14. Ethan Miller avenges a loss to Sprouse from last year and the dual is over 33-6 in favor of the Haven
  15. Morrison with the major over backup Karapetyan (a good Armenian name by the way). 30-6 Bald Eagles going into the final match
  16. Malachai Duvall of George Mason defeats Colin Fegley to bring their series against one another to a 2-2 draw. 26-6 Lock Haven
  17. Stoltzfus with a clutch takedown to comeback and win 5-3 for Lock Haven who now lead 26-3
  18. Evan Maag, of Notre Dame Green Pond, District 11, defeats Eric Alderfer of Lock Haven to put the first points on the board for George Mason. 23-3 and now 174 we have Pierce vs Stoltzfus
  19. Connor Eck putting it on freshman JT Chance who wrestles in place of ranked DJ McGee. 15-2 after the 1st. Chance gets a takedown in the 2nd bringing the score back to 15-5. Chance looks tough on top and gets a stall call on Eck as he buries him into the mat. Another stall on Eck and we have 15-6. Chance gets another takedown in the third and now its 15-9! Third stall on Eck and its 15-10. Chance had an amazing comeback, but while its not enough, he avoided bonus. 23-0 for Lock Haven
  20. Stonecheck gets the takedown, gets to work on top and earns a pin in 100 seconds. 20-0 Lock Haven in what is becoming a blow out
  21. Let em up, take em down. Let em up. It's 15-4 in the 2nd. Another takedown makes it 18-4. Continues to stalk Higley. Easily gets another takedown after a release and Henson wins 21-5 2nd period tech fall. That is his 7th tech fall in a row. 14-0 in favor of Lock Haven after three matches
  22. Wyatt Henson playing take em down and let em up with Nate Higley - a national qualifier last year at 149. Henson gets a third takedown in the first period plus three near fall. 12-2 in favor of Henson
  23. Call stands Wittenberg escapes Stall all on Strickland but he holds on and wins 4-2 9-0 in favor of Lock Haven
