  1. My rationale for hoping this thread is moved to the non-wrestling board: 1) Its not about wrestling 2) I can hear idiots argue about this stuff anywhere I go and the points mentioned here are identical 3) It has made me think worse of people who I otherwise respected from conversations about wrestling. (not because of their political opinion, but because of how quickly they are willing to abandon decorum when alternate views are presented). 4) I make a decent effort to avoid thinking about things I don't want to and this thread keeps popping up in a place where I don't intuitively expect it. I will otherwise just keep trying to unsuccessfully ignore it lol
  2. Yes I heard he and Molinaro interviewed. And that there was some speculation about the possibility of New Jersey native James Green. Otherwise, no clue.
  3. I've watched the industry of investment management transform in such a way where executives openly talk about taking the weekend to eat a couple gummies and sink into their coach to relax.
  4. So Lock Haven may be open to guys for second chances (similar in a way to Rider, and increasingly, Northern Colorado) but they have also demonstrated at least one example of discipline for bad behavior. In last year's MAC championships, Lock Haven HWT Isaac Reid threw punches at Terrese Aaron from Northern Illinois. (https://getsomemaction.com/news/2023/3/4/mac-suspends-lock-haven-wrestling-student-athlete.aspx) The following season (the one that just ended in March) he was demoted to backup in place of struggling sophomore Ethan Miller, who went 5-22 on the season as Reid exhausted the last of eligibility as a backup after having been a national qualifier in 2022. Anthony Noto was accused of making racially derogatory remarks to teammate Donald Cates and was sent packing by Pop. We don't hear reports about whether people are making progress in that regard, so I don't have any indication as to whether he has been on better behavior (or even the validity of the event in the first place). He did have a blow up at Pop in the matchup against NC State two years ago. Long way of saying that Lock Haven may not be the place for the Ferraris though if they are not borderline bad boys and are actual criminals.
  5. I don't have a very good idea of what kind of school it is honestly. I can see that they have Justin Phillips who transferred in from Virginia which is another top school academically I think on par with Duke
  6. Ariel Waldman from LIU to Oneonta State
  7. most definitely
  8. cheap tilt is a cheap term. if you can't defend it, you deserve it.
  9. Indiana at 165 - Tyler Lillard vs Derek Gilcher. Lillard has nothing left to cut and could not make 157 without removing a limb. I hope Gilcher can do it
  10. It's not performance enhancing. It has practical uses in pain relief and diet simulation for those undergoing cancer treatment most especially.
  11. I can only speak for myself and I am completely satisfied with the service
  12. I get my best wrestling statistical analysis from ex-swimmers
  13. i'm not laughing at you - but with you. If you ever stepped on a mat with the likes of Lewis you are likely many levels above the best version of me.
  14. Lesbos is a Greek island and goat cheese from that island is known as Lesbian Cheese I believe
  15. As a reformed internet political arguer, I am much happier posting about less divisive things like sports and stuff
  16. Spencer Von Savoye from Cal Baptist to Duke
  17. Lock Haven has been a decent place for those on a redemptive path with a few notable others
  18. If that is true, I might expect Facundo to enter the portal in the fall, with Michigan as an ideal landing spot
  19. couple updates to wrestlestat lineups: Levi Haines listed as started at 174 with Mesenbrink at 165 again and Kasak up to 157. Luke Stanich on RS with Sheldon Seymour off redshirt and sliding back into starter at 125 while Stanich grows into 141 (or Crookham does) Rylan Rogers down to 174 from 197 Evan Bockman listed at 184 Jack Maida back up to 133 for American with the ferocious Max Leete taking a senior year redshirt Isaac Trumble at HWT with Trephan riding the pine and relative unknown Christian Knopp starting at 197 for NCST
  20. Yes at a minimum depending on how you define it. This will be his fourth school over the course of seven years. But one piece missing in below is that he had also originally agreed to transfer from Buffalo to North Dakota State and then redirected that transfer to Oklahoma along with Kish. So he has been committed to at least five schools while attending now four.
  21. Guiseppe Hoose to Drexel
  22. makes sense - he has been removed from wrestlestat's transfer portal and is back as starter in the lineup
  23. Correlated with excess testosterone production which makes sense
