  1. Brother I lived in South Whitehall part of Allentown for a chunk of my youth - greetings from a former lehigh valley chap.
  2. I fell out of my chair when I read that line
  3. also sometimes in a scramble, a guy will notice he lost the upper hand, and cling onto the leg for dear life, hoping to be bailed out. some grey area for these calls
  4. It's a good question. I can think of a couple examples which might qualify. double leg takedown to the other guys butt, but his legs are beneath the guy with the takedown, and he has a chest wrap in such a way, that neither is likely to be able to move. but I think reducing the types of stalemates would be great
  5. and add to the list - guys putting their foot on the wood floor to get a restart so they're not taken down.
  6. same as when someone is starting to lose ground in a scramble and intentionally causes a potentially dangerous by twisting the other guys knee until the ref gives them a restart
  7. Anderson over Becker and its 20-9 GW
  8. Jack Wimmer over Tyler Hicks. 17-9 now for GW
  9. Gaetano Console makes it two in a row for Duke as he takes down Andrew Wilson. 17-6
  10. Logan Ferrero gets Duke on the board with a decision over Tyler Brignola. 17-3
  11. Price wins on an escape and a riding time point. 2-0 and now 17-0 Bulldogs
  12. at 149 its heavy handfighting but no score between Zach Price and Bethlehem Catholic's Jarred Papscy
  13. Todd Carter earns a 2nd period 17-2 tech fall over Peter Chacon of Duke. 14-0 GW
  14. Tyson Lane with the only takedown in the first. Locked a riding time point, and secured an escape in the third. Adams with an escape and an earned stall point. Lane takes it 5-2 over Raymond Adams. 9-0 GW going into 141
  15. That sounds about right to me. Drew West with the fall over Logan Agin. 6-0 start for GW
  16. Very long break after the refs try to figure out riding time
  17. Raymond Adams - the freshman starter for Blue Devils at 133 has dropped down to 125 unexpectedly and gets the first takedown against Drew West Edit: announcers faked me out. It was actually Agin at 125 and Adams went 133
  18. Bulldogs are favorites and I don't think it will be close, but this is what we have for tonights wrestling, so I am grateful
  19. McKee in his NCAA career is 5-4 vs Barnett 3-2 vs DeAugustino 4-2 vs Ayala (though the trend is now going in the other direction)
  20. I collect passport stamps. I have filled out my last passport to the point of no blank spaces and needed to request additional pages. This is not some sort of wealth braggery either. Traveled with humble means to 40 countries and hope to keep growing the number
  21. Tabor could have had that one
  22. Far fewer than what I had expected when I joined to be fair. But you're right, especially after shedding Tbar and MSU, the childlike team bias has been diminished.
  23. Michael Blockhus upsets Jared Franek with a last second takedown! Amazing
  24. Ayala: He lacks physical toughness (injury proneness mostly) but his mental toughness is truly elite. He never panics when down and routinely pulls off comebacks. I love that in him. I just hope his body can hang
  25. where is this being shown?
