They got what they deserved honestly. Seeds could have been worse. There is no easy draw at 165 or 197, so Kennedy and Warner were always going to have their hands full to aa.

It wasn't but that's how the ref called it. 1 and 1 for Gilman shot after the whistle. Ref botched that call horribly.

I've had a few friends bring up the No takedown call against otoole in the first period of his match with carr. I didn't see the match but believe it was reviewed and no td call stayed. Hamiti definitely had a pin off a cradle in his semis I believe that wasn't called somehow. Stall calling in general remains frustrating and inconsistent. -

Stalling calls vs woods seemed a little excessive to me. Good match though at 141. Blockhus is really wrestling well this weekend.

There should be some kind of time limit. If the ref doesn't see something that makes them immediately see a mistake then stick with the call. Unless a new official reviews and determines the call there is no reason to spend 2 plus minutes looking at replay.

Not enough mat space near oob line

Agree 100% refs look at calling stalling just prior as an excuse to not call oob stall properly. My biggest issue with a straight push out rule is marrying that idea with an escape. Say wrestler a earns an escape at the oob line and immediately gets shoved out. I don't think that should be a stall call otherwise it incentivizes top guy to wrestle near the line.

Between everything going oob being action and nothing on top being stalling, the product has really become hard to watch sometimes.

Warner should have been hit for stalling on that ride. Holding a foot in the air for several seconds and them running Dean out of bounds..

That's not a call in college anymore from my understanding (unless it was added back in). Stall is only call there now I believe.
