Yes, forums are routinely 'scraped' to collect and identify poster profile information. Jross does this on a regular basis and has been doing it for years. You probably didn't catch that because, like most, you weren't paying attention. (You really should.) I wouldn't say anybody is "out there to get you" - but I do think everyone should take a rational approach to protecting their private information. Or not - it's a free country for now. That's fair. In terms of left-leaning or right-leaning, I think society is finally starting to come to grips with the reality that the majority isn't on either side. The majority is most likely in the middle 70% or so. Let's hope that trend continues. All of the energy spent on promoting team-red or team-blue on social media wasn't actually spent on anything other than to convince us all we're divided far more than we actually are. And much of that energy was foreign state sponsored. The next battle will be to convince people that foreign state sponsorship is real, that foreign states are heavily involved in attempting to divide our country, and that our government shouldn't choose to ignore this threat. In the current whirlwind of conspiracy theories - that battle will likely go unnoticed by most. Make no mistake, the Russians and Chinese have mastered manipulating their citizens decades ago. It is new to us, and we think we aren't vulnerable. The opposite is true. We have proven that we are. We continue to fight amongst ourselves as if we are enemies, while the true enemies continue to sharpen their manipulation skills.

The thing is that dopes like you always think you are in a much higher earnings bracket than you actually are. If your taxes go up, it's because you are on the left side of the graph. And - this is important - it may be time to rethink how those on the right side of the graph keep getting wealthier and wealthier (by a large margin) while people like you continue to make excuses for them as if you were on that right side. Trump was elected president by these very same people. Voters still poor as dirt, watching Trump and others get rich as hell. Trump isn't taking any regular people up with him - just making the already rich even richer. Yet you fight for those rich bastards. Why? I'll never know.

Musk is the guy who, for months, had FULL ACCESS to every federal department in the country. And who downloaded every bit of information that was accessible. Every single bit and took it with him. Bombshell: For me and others who sounded the alarm bell and warned you that it could be bad... we were right... and it could get worse. Much worse. Trump sent Musk packing when his other mega rich supporters (and their lawyers) realized Musk was getting a step up on them and everyone they were associated with. Even the mega rich are sometimes slow on the draw. Oh - and another Bombshell: Yes, there is no reasonable doubt that Musk has access to the Epstein files. (Don't forget that DOGE is still operating - even if Elon isn't around.) It just leaves one question: If you give a guy the keys to the kingdom, and then wonder how he has access to everything - how smart are you?

Serious answer. It's simple. These are tax cuts for the very wealthy. Robin Hood in reverse, taking more from the poor to pay the rich. You argue that extending the 2017 tax cuts isn't the same as new tax cuts? That's a silly argument. The 2017 cuts expire. If they are to be 'extended' it is essentially the same as new cuts. You pretend to be ignorant of this. IMO, that's considerably worse than actually being ignorant.

Let this sink in. Trump wants to increase the deficit in order to give the wealthiest people tax cuts. (The people that don't need them and already have more money than they can spend.) It only takes 3rd grade level logic to see how astoundingly wrong this is. Now we just need the Senate to dig deep and match 3rd grade logic long enough to ditch this big fat crooked bill.

Exactly. Not a riot, not a raid... it was a "criminal investigation" using search warrants to collect information. As was done in other locations the same day. The problem was that misinformation was abundant, and the neighborhood residents are not very trusting due to recent historical events. When military level vehicles rolled into their neighborhood, with masked agents in camo fatigues carrying assault weapons. (ICE agents also there.) The residents naturally started to prepare for the worst. As I've already posted - investigations can take the entire situation into account and can be done quickly, quietly and professionally. Or they can roll in "military style" with big camo trucks and scary looking guys in fatigues with guns as an intimidation tactic. And make a big unnecessary show of power. That just takes the problem from 1 to 10. These folks weren't going to be intimidated in their own neighborhood. Nor should they be. Nor should anybody in their own neighborhood. All of you and myself included.

It's like a who's who of data collection posters - so not cool. Post your personal information about your kids and your personal financial situation because they want it? How many times do I have to tell you folks to stop giving personal information to people online? If you needed nothing more than a clue, jross was one of these clowns digging for your data.
