  1. I already posted them https://uww.org/athletes/skriabin-niurgun
  2. 2nd match after 11:00 AM start. No new weigh-in.
  3. Zain is clearly better, but dumb things happen in close matches. The guy is better than Dest and we remember what happened their the last time Zain needed to win to qualify the weight.
  4. His match will be a slugfest. The last time he lost via Tech was like 2019. He holds a win over last year's World Champ, and has many, many close losses to gents we all consider contenders (8-6, 6-3, etc) including a 5-2 loss to Ochir.

  6. He was leaning too far back when Sujeet stood up. sujeet standing up was unexpected and most wrestlers won't do that and all coaches won't coach that due to the possibility for a 4/5 point Dake bomb. Zain bailed quickly out of fear for a counter-4.

  8. I mean... Zain likes to pat the head... heavily. Of all his matches this weekend that wasn't even a head pat. It was clearly an attempt to plead "Please don't let him hurt me, ref." before Zain could get it going.
  9. 2 - 2 criteria. Great chessmatch to finish!
  10. 36S to go on a restart.
  11. TD Zain! Much like the first, just finished. Up 2-2 with 1M20S to go!
  12. Not to mention Sujeet was dead to rights with Zain behind him, turned in and BLAMMO. Was almost too easy.
  13. He is fast and quick on his finishes.
  14. Sujeet is a lot longer. 2 - 0 at the break. Zain is down.
  15. TD Sujeet, 2-0. 1M27S to go in the first.
  16. Sujeet whinging that Zain is being tough.
  17. Which Sujeet shows up here? Which Zain shows up here?
  18. Zhou of China (CHI) up against Egorov of Macedonia (MKD) then we get Zain.
  19. Johnson loses 11-0 (10-0 and a failed challenge). The guy gave it everything this tournament. He was outclassed in his two losses, but I was happy seeing him go.
  20. BTW - The Portly Johnson of Jamaica is still alive at 125 KG, gents. He is up against Usbekistan on Mat B right now. Then 57 KG next. Then Zain.
  21. What's more - the gents in R1 of the other Repechage wrestled a dogfight, so every one of those type of matches for potential opponents ahead of him the better.
  22. Honis has this gent next... not much international success - ever, but guy won the matches needed to get to '2' wins away from the Olympics so I expect a dogfight for Honis... https://uww.org/athletes/habila-awusayiman
  23. Honis wins 11-0 (was 10-0 but opponent lost an exposure challenge).
