Now that tickets are on sale to the general public, it seems like the next step is to seed the teams. If they are using the previous season's NCAA team scores to qualify teams for the lottery, wouldn't it make the most sense to just seed them the same way? Take out the subjectivity completely. How else should they do it? Or is seeding all irrelevant anyway, because TO BE THE MAN, YOU'VE GOT TO BEAT THE MAN?!

Finally, someone who gets it. Someone has to be the odd man out of this, and it's going to be Thompson. This forum is filled with Merrill doubters and I don't get it.

Has anyone ever put together a list of retrospective, hypothetical Hodge Trophy winners before the award was created? I would be interested in seeing the kinds of runs, schools and individuals could go on in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I realize I'm asking someone else to put in the work, but I'm lazy and no one wants my opinion anyway.
