Gotta say, once the Collegian article was published I thought a bunch of people would come forward - girls he's been inappropriate with, teammates confirming the locker room allegations, etc. But it's been crickets - no evidence shown, no snapchat screengrabs, no witnesses coming forward. Just Beau and his wife as only source for all of this.

If we're talking about a head coach, the last high profile one I can think of is Jimmy Z. at Oregon St.? Parino at NU was a while ago, but rather sudden and public. Usually, they're able to dress these up as retirements or a move them into an assistant AD role so everyone can save face.

Actually the opposite - I think it's smart for him to keep quiet now. He spent months making a spectacle of his recruiting process, only for God to tell him he chose wrong. Pretty embarrassing.

OK - I assumed because he was ivy he was more age appropriate. Yeah - 26 ain't the same as 23 in wrestling yrs.

I think you're right. The clearinghouse brings the NCAA right back into the same anti-trust/anti-competition territory that led to the NIL era in the first place.

Seriously, this kid couldn't STFU about his recruiting for a year straight. Now months of radio silence. The only thing we can be sure of is he'll be lucky to get 1/5th of what he was going to get from Iowa in NIL. Whoever's advising this kid did him an enormous disservice.

Vince Robinson. Zero HS championships, though everyone in IL knows he had the talent level to be a multi-time state champ. So it's not like he had dramatic improvement at NC St., just bad luck in HS.

One of the claims is provable. Bartlett would have to be an idiot to say there's a group chat with nonconsensual athlete nudes posted in it. If that was made up out of thin air, everyone in the group chat could prove him wrong. But I guess stranger things have happened.
