    They can't do this. They have absolutely no legal jurisdiction over what a booster pays an athlete. none. zero. zip. zilch. They cannot regulate it. it is illegal.

    Every year in December: "Penn State is showing vulnerabilities!" Every year in March: "Penn State has broken the sport! Nationals aren't even fun anymore!"

    I don't think it's a problem to rely on college folkstyle results to rank college folkstyle wrestlers.

    Ticket demand for the NCAA Wrestling Tournament goes up every year. This year, Penn State alone expects 25,000 members of the Nittany Lion Club to put in for tickets. That's more than the capacity of the arena.

    A huge difference between Penn state sending out two guys who never wrestled a national tournament for anyone else in MM and Kerkvliet and Iowa and michigan basing their entire programs now on poaching older kids.

    For me, in terms of folkstyle, Zain Retherford was the best folkstyle wrestler. Incredible in all three positions. Pushed the pace, was physical, could shoot and score to both legs, great short offense, and committed crimes against humanity on top.
