Sounds like he decided to jump in and join the fight. That's what cost him, nothing his dad did. He just decided to do that himself. If he had just left and not gotten involved, I doubt they do anything to him.
You shouldn't call the police, fire department, use hospitals, drive your car on public roads, use public transportation, eat anything FDA approved, etc. You can apparently get by fine without all that then.
If Trump isn't racist why has he said and done racist things for decades?
He got busted for refusing to rent to black people. Well documented.
He kept black dealers off the floor in his casino because one of his patrons was offended or didn't like black people.
He also complained that he had a black accountant, saying he wanted short guys with yarmulkes counting his money instead. And also said that black people were inherently lazy.
He put out a full page and calling for the execution of the so called Central Park 5, who were all black or minorities before their case had even been tried. Then when they were exonorated he refused to apologize and doubled down on his opinion.
This isn't just a one off issue. This is a long standing pattern of racist behavior.
Because it's pretty obvious that Trump isn't really concerned with immigration or anything else. To him going after brown people is what gets him play with his supporters. I still don't understand how you don't see right through him. Trump wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. Everything he is doing is to benefit himself in some way.
Temporary is while their asylum or other immigration claim is pending. It doesn't mean that when they decide to rescind it, it goes away. We still have things like due process.
Except what Trump wants isn't the law. His interests don't necessarily align with our country and from his personal views or way of doing business, not always legal or constitutional. Plus it's good to have independent oversight where authority doesn't come from just one person's opinion.
I always think of the first time Obama met with the people who were in the DOJ. He came in and said, your job is to uphold justice and the constitution, not be beholden to me or anything else.
Because they know what they are doing? It's like asking a chimpanzee whether he thinks it's a good idea to do something. He doesn't know, doesn't care, and isn't interested enough to make an informed decision.
Somebody who is an admitted alcoholic with a history of public incidents involving alcohol, including begging for his current job by saying he would quit drinking if he got it. Having grown up with alcoholic parents, knowing others both in recovery and not, I think I am a pretty good judge of what the behavior of somebody who is an admitted alcoholic is and isn't. And to answer your question? Somebody who is a severe alcoholic is who would do that.

How many of you sycophants are going to be able to rationalize this?
