  1. https://time.com/article/2026/10/13/most-americans-think-trump-is-profiting-from-the-presidency-illegally-or-unethically-poll-finds/ Roughly 60% or 2/3 Americans believe Trump has prioritized his own personal wealth above all else. Anyone shocked by this?
  2. Clip of Netanyahu essentially bragging that he is able to get the US to do what he wants and how he has influence over US policy... Weren't there people here claiming that wasn't the case?
  3. Hope you reserve this same sentiment for your boy Jimmy. Equal opportunity right?
  4. President Donald Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions and tariffs on Russia that were mandated by the bipartisan Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, sparking immediate bipartisan backlash in Congress and strong condemnation from Ukraine. Was there ever any doubt he wasn't fully on board with helping Russia or being manipulated by Putin?
  5. The fact that the stupid person is often stubborn must not blind us to the fact that he is not independent. In conversation with him, one virtually feels that one is dealing not at all with him as a person, but with slogans, catchwords, and the like that have taken possession of him. He is under a spell, blinded, misused, and abused in his very being. Having thus become a mindless tool, the stupid person will also be capable of any evil and at the same time incapable of seeing that it is evil.
  6. Nah it actually doesn't- "speaking clear and concise" is the exact opposite of what the MAGA crowd trots out there.
  7. But ironically are the ones that fly the confederate flags... Make sense of that one boss...
  8. Here’s an appropriate quote by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Protestant leader of the German resistance who died in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany, speaking about the nature of stupidity and how it’s more dangerous than evil: “Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed — in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical — and when facts are irrefutable, they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self-satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous. If we want to know how to get the better of stupidity, we must seek to understand its nature. This much is certain, that it is in essence not an intellectual defect but a human one. There are human beings who are of remarkably agile intellect yet stupid, and others who are intellectually quite dull yet anything but stupid. We discover this to our surprise in particular situations. The impression one gains is not so much that stupidity is a congenital defect but that, under certain circumstances, people are made stupid or that they allow this to happen to them. We note further that people who have isolated themselves from others or who live in solitude manifest this defect less frequently than individuals or groups of people inclined or condemned to sociability. And so it would seem that stupidity is perhaps less a psychological than a sociological problem. It is a particular form of the impact of historical circumstances on human beings, a psychological concomitant of certain external conditions. Upon closer observation, it becomes apparent that every strong upsurge of power in the public sphere, be it of a political or a religious nature, infects a large part of humankind with stupidity. It would even seem that this is virtually a sociological-psychological law. The power of the one needs the stupidity of the other. The process at work here is not that particular human capacities, for instance, the intellect, suddenly atrophy or fail. Instead, it seems that under the overwhelming impact of rising power, humans are deprived of their inner independence and, more or less consciously, give up establishing an autonomous position toward the emerging circumstances. This is where the danger of diabolical misuse lurks, for it is this that can once and for all destroy human beings. Yet at this very point it becomes quite clear that only an act of liberation, not instruction, can overcome stupidity. Here we must come to terms with the fact that in most cases a genuine internal liberation becomes possible only when external liberation has preceded it. Until then we must abandon all attempts to convince the stupid person. This state of affairs explains why in such circumstances our attempts to know what “the people” really think are in vain and why, under these circumstances, this question is so irrelevant for the person who is thinking and acting responsibly. The word of the Bible that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom declares that the internal liberation of human beings to live the responsible life before God is the only genuine way to overcome stupidity. But these thoughts about stupidity also offer consolation in that they utterly forbid us to consider the majority of people to be stupid in every circumstance. It really will depend on whether those in power expect more from peoples’ stupidity than from their inner independence and wisdom.” • Dietrich Bonhoeffer Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison, ed. Christian Gremmels et al., trans. Isabel Best et al., vol. 8 of Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works (Minneapolis, MN: Fortress Press, 2010), 43–44.
  9. How about the KKK and Neo Nazis on the right that are part of all the families of people you support? Never heard a peep from you about them... Dude is smart as hell and can actually speak clear and concisely. These are the type of people I want in office. The intelligent and humane. Essentially the opposite of MAGA crazies.
  10. The entire MAGA/GOP are liars, you suppor them. If I use the transitive property- you support Sayed as well given your baseless assertion of calling him a liar?
  11. This is a great watch https://www.facebook.com/TheTNHoller/posts/-answer-the-question-tommy-i-think-youre-the-one-who-needs-to-read-the-constitut/1604683135005954/ I'll be honest, I haven't listened or followed the Abdul El Sayed news because it's a different state election but the more video I see of him speaking- he comes off as extremely intelligent and common sense. It also makes sense why there is so much vitriol from the right- they hate the educated. Here- we have a MAGA plant and Christian Nationalist and former staffer of Josh Hawley coming in from another state for an I gotcha moment and instead gets absolutely schooled by Abdul. The end of the interaction is one of the huge problems with the right and that's the want and desire to create policies/law on Christian doctrine which he clearly would not disavow.
  12. Who is defending anything- I'm merely proving the GOP elects groomers
  13. You guys can cherry pick tweets though am I right? Hard to believe anyone actually takes you serious in "real life"
  14. Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of pursuing romantic relationships with teenagers while in his 30s, said he first noticed his future wife eight years before he formally met her – when she would have been as young as 15 years old. Moore was 38 when he married Kayla Kisor, who was 24. You guys elect literal groomers to office...
  15. I have seen it reported that Religion is a construct created by NHI to keep some semblance of order within human social structure. it's more likely aliens are walking among us everyday than Jesus to show up and have a beer with me and tell me I should believe everything in a book he didn't write
  16. From ChatGPT There is one recent cross-national study that found countries with larger Christian populations tended to have higher recorded rape rates, while countries with larger Muslim populations tended to have lower recorded rates.
  17. This shit happens in Iowa from crazy country bumpkins... But let's let a crime committed by someone define an entire demographic of people. Should I find an example of some white alt right pedophile in rural Iowa (there are lots btw) and accuse you of the same thing?
  18. This post just goes to show how shot you really are. I haven't said or declared either of those positions ever on this forum. That's how I know your brain is mush. You'll say anything to help make yourself feel better that's how simple and weak minded you are.
  19. I sense great fear in you. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate is the path to the dark side.
  20. The best part about the past 2 days is you haven't denied being a racist and bigoted POS once... If nothing else, I appreciate you owning it. Your whole post history in this thread is just you crashing out subconsciously coming to the realization you're probably a shit person.
  21. That's patently false considering I called your racist ass out yesterday. A proper way to phrase that statement would have been, you don't call out ALL racists- which I don't because that would be impossible. Fortunately for you, I can call you out given I can communicate with you here directly.
  22. Yes. It is bad to be a racist... Pretty wild this has to be reiterated but here we are.
