    Spot on! I am starting to check around here less and less. It’s an echo chamber of negativity. I’m not even super positive and upbeat myself but I find myself constantly calling out folks being negative, we should all be better.

    What’s his story? I see he was an AA at Binghamton and AHC at Cornell currently, people seem to like him and be excited about whoever it is who are in the know.

    It’s not a great look for somoen with so much following and respect from youth, but you have to understand why he did that. MM needs to mature some, I like his style but her tried to “big dawg” the champ.

    You have to imagine Columbia has donors brown wrestling raises the most money if any sport they offer. But coaching at an Ivy is going to have a lot more hoops and hurdles than a state school. what Cornell does is nothing short of spectacular given the current landscape of college athletics(no transfers for Ivy, Greyshirt vs. redshirt, no 12 years eligibility) and the admissions rigor of the school.

    I clicked on the OTT schedule link yesterday and it was broken. I’d get reprimanded hard if I did something like that at my job that was going to a customer. “Lack of attention to detail, if you can’t do it I’ll do it myself” -my boss

    I’m also confused what the end game is here…. Could it be higher paying? Is Robie retiring? Hasn't he been pretty highly regarded with his work at Columbia?

    It reminded me of the women’s soccer team at Purdue one year trying to create a petition to get their coach fired for basically being mean and yelling, as coaches do…. the AD probably is happy to clean house and get a fresh group in their.

    I’m not even overly optimist most the time, but when this guy dedicated entire threads to “what is the next school to drop wrestling” it seems he just likes the topic. You’re knowledgeable. Do you think his comment about CMU waiting to see if Buffalo drops before deciding if they drop their team holds any weight? I truly don’t see it happening, but I haven’t been around long enough to know what it looks like before a team gets drops.

    Yeah. I think you’re reaching and being pessimistic. CMU has rich tradition and wrestling is continually their best sport.
