  1. I unfortunately know of *many* scholarship/money issues/situations where Kish has did wrong by the group of kids he inherited and has over compensated kids he's brought in via portal. He has what he wanted now. It is definitely his team as none of the good kids that were there when he got there are still there. We will see how it turns out.
  2. @H82Lose I see where you got my take about Kish guys. Wasn't totally about staff. It is that he has brought in a handful of NDSU transfer wrestlers and paid them more than current OU wrestlers (prime example is Mora over Heindselman) and his NDSU transfers are not scoring points at NCAA. I want Kish and OU to succeed. Just not bullish on the situation. And of his 2 assistants he brought in, I'm more impressed with Mardsen than Sykora. Just my 2 cents from the cheap seats.
  3. It is tough at OU right now. I'm not a fire Kish guy. I would support fire Leonard. I don't say that lightly and from outside I can be wrong. But the admin perspective has not been supportive and has had many missteps in past dozen years. References made about Cael and PSU, Dresser at ISU and Taylor at OSU as programs turning it around without being *program* guys. Cael and Taylor are *big name* guys and had *HUGE* donors behind them. Dresser might not be ISU guy but he is a state of IA guy and his staff is too. Plus Dresser brought in a legend ISU guy in Nate Carr. Kish brought in his NDSU guys and they have *not* panned out. You don't need to have a program guy as a coach, but you need to have program people involved in some aspect. A lot of the true and steady OU supporters have been turned away and rubbed wrong by Kish. I personally haven't felt it, but I know many that have. I'll reiterate that I'm not pushing for Kish to be fired. I'm good with giving him time and hopeful he is successful yet unfortunately it is tough right now in Norman.
  4. @BruceyB OU had chance to embrace Richison before OSU. If they had done that we would be in better place today than OSU. John W is a legend but his ship was sinking *FAST*
  5. OU isn't going to improve until Jason Leonard is gone. He has put a *stain* on a program he competed for. Kish has his own stain in that he *ran off* Heindselman for his dude Mora. He has to own that. Lou never truly embraced Oklahoma as a state yet he did leave program with 3 kids that All American this year. They all just did it for different programs. The only sport that OU places 2nd fiddle to its little brother is in Wrestling and unfortunately with OSU willing to embrace a big-time donor in Richison and OU not, the gap is now only getting wider and my beloved Sooners won't be closing it anytime soon.
  6. @ionel on all 4's! you also a provider for captain america?
  7. Just because stories are in the Bible doesn't mean it is condoned. What he did is a sin. It is not my nor your place to judge him. It is up to his wife/family to forgive or not. Not of our business. And his final judgment will come from above.
  8. For those against Christianity or on the fence, this is not an indictment against it. What he did is wrong regardless of your religious beliefs. You are insincere if you say Christianity is not good because an openly Christian person sinned. Its wrong. He has to deal with the consequences. And it is up to his family to accept him or not. Has nothing to do with us.
  9. @flyingcement I have sneaky suspicion that neither Wiley or Picklo will be back next year. It's been a bad spell here lately with my Sooners.
  10. Go get Mike Zadick!
  11. I don't think this will be limited to JUCO. It should also apply to NAIA as they are not governed by NCAA either.
  12. Lol...Mora has never beat Heindselman. Mora is Kish guy and now has spot. Hoping my Sooners find their way!
  13. Kish only has 1 year at the helm. Unfortunately he lost his 2 best wrestlers from last year to other teams and both of them were there before he got there. None of *his* guys have produced yet. As started though he's had only 1 year at helm. He seems to have a plan to shape the team his way. Hopefully we start to see some success from it. He does deserve some grace and praying he delivers!
  14. I have no problems with challenging status and even Zadick. We all had higher hopes for our team. We missed this Olympics but our system is NOT broken. We missed on opportunities. We cannimprove yet I see no reason for drastic overhaul. Bad mistake to look at 1 week of performance when we have been on top for about 7 years now.
  15. I'll take the under
