  1. Weren't they issued cell phones (by the federal government) loaded with signal and advised on how to use them when they got into office. Are you saying the phones that the government gave them are unsecure. Towards the end of the meeting, I'm sure you saw where Hegseth had advised them to go to a more secure sight (upper level) for more info in their in boxes. Probably not his exact words.
  2. I only bring up the FBI because Jross mentioned it. Report it to the FBI if you have it. I know this is going to throw a monkey wrench into this, but I don't believe there was any classified information in the chat room. Goldberg and a huge number of people are saying there was. I am getting the feeling that Goldberg by name was never invited to the chat room. I don't believe anyone in the room even had his number. Goldberg is not very supportive of President Trump or his agenda. So according to Goldberg if it is classified, he along with others in the room could be in trouble. If Goldberg was in the room on false pretense, he alone would be in trouble according to the laws stated. It's sad that for all the success of the mission that it is getting overshadowed by this.
  3. That's a possibility. It's called the elderly poor memory card. There is already "standing" that it can be used.
  4. Being that Goldberg by name would be the last person on earth to be invited into a chat, how did he get invited? Being Goldberg would be the last person on earth that any of the people in the chat would even have his phone number, how did he get into the chat? Maybe the CIA guy can answer that.
  5. It's not that he got the info. It is all in how he handled the information once he got it. There is certain protocol on handling this material. You can't keep it. You can't share it. You must turn it over to the FBI. Isn't that violating the law as stated? Journalists do not have special classified information clearance.
  6. Goldberg doesn't have some sort of special Security clearance that I am aware of. Just because he is a reporter. Or does he?
  7. If it is deemed classified information, he didn't follow proper protocol in handling said information. This is according to Us law as stated above. It doesn't matter what anyone else did or did not do. I'm not a lawyer but the law is the law. Unless you can afford some really good lawyers and can get a pardon from the President.
  8. If in fact Goldberg is correct, and it is deemed classified information he would be subject to the above violations. If he is wrong and it is deemed just regular information, he would be ok. It probably would have to go to a court of law to figure it out.
  9. So, Goldberg violated (18 U.S.C. S798) and (18 U.S.C. S 793) nor did he report it to the FBI, nor did he return it. If I or you had done the same thing, we would I be typing this from our jail cells? We would need some really good lawyers and a lot of money.
  10. I'm curious how Goldbergs number would be on any Signal app on any of the individuals who were on the group chat. It seems kind of odd. I would think he would be the last person who would be put on it.
  11. You might need some really good lawyers if you publish classified information.
  12. I guess it is more what you do with it after the fact. If you call a law an enforcement official and hand it over right away is one scenario. Then there are a couple of scenarios that could get you in a lot of trouble. Selling the info to the highest bidder or using it for blackmail. Being a federal employee or in the military I would think is a little more dicer.
  13. Thus, be more like a cat and land on your feet or stomach. When I coached my youth wrestlers, I instilled in my wrestlers to not fight all the way to your back. Be more like a cat. Sense danger early and get to your stomach.
  14. His (Wyatt) bonus wins are PINS!!!!!!!! Which is a higher bonus than majors and techs.
  15. Are there legal rules in place for (private citizen) handling DOD classified information that has been acquired inadvertently? What is the proper protocol for military and government employees for handling DOD classified information that they have acquired inadvertently?
  16. Not trying to be smart. I don't see where Houthi is mentioned. Remember I am much older than you and I could be wrong. It says target terrorist is at his known location. That probably is 200 to 300 locations in the middle east. There are and you probably know exactly a great number of terrorists in the middle east.
  17. Was the place, person or country mentioned.
  18. Like I said and prove me wrong the enemy did not receive this information. Only the American reporter inadvertently received the data. There was also no target mentioned, or no country mentioned in the information.
  19. He just might be pulling an Adam Schiff. We've seen that a few times.
  20. You might want to check that data. One American reporter knew about some information. Nothing got to the enemy.
  21. Navy pilots execute successful mission taking the Iran backed Houthi communications facilities and weapons factories. The Houthi's had been operating and terrorizing ships for the last 4 years with little response from the Biden administration. Blocking nearly 80 percent of all shipping in the area. Big win for everyone.
  22. I would say he got some NIL MONEY. I would say it was well deserved.
