  1. You like to use big words but you’re a fraud. My reading comprehension is fine. Someone came to your thread, said Cornell would tie PSU and that’s where this all stems from. I never claimed it wouldn’t be close, I said Cornell wouldn’t tie (reading comprehension issues on your end)? Sit down loser and keep giving your thoughts to others that give a shit. When you want to put your money where your mouth is..come back to this thread. If not, go waste your day giving your opinions to others. Up until now the only one being insulting and taking it personal is you. See earlier in thread. I put my money where my mouth was on another bet. No animosity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Then let’s bet. Don’t keep saying “I wouldn’t be shocked if this or that happen”. Put your money where your mouth is. I’ll give you a point so in the event of a tie you win If you’re not willing to bet, then not much else to discuss. We can discuss any dual and say “I wouldn’t be shocked if this or that,” I’m not into those types of discussions. Cornell will not tie PSU (which was the premise of this thread). If you think they will tie or even win, I will give you a point and we bet, if not, then be like MSU and just talk to talk without taking a side Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As long as the 4 champs and Kerk wrestle, it don’t matter. Unfortunate for Robbie. Interested to watch BearClaw. Seems he grew a couple inches from last year and more focused on opening up his offense (easier said than done). As far as predicting who will be at 157 for those duals at this time, is a bit premature considering new redshirt rules Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I prefunded mine as well. Made it $25 so I get 4-1.
  6. Bet! Long shot for me. But gets me a little more excited to see it happen
  7. You would need to give odds since that’s a tall order. I’d take 5-1 if you’re giving it. The only one I think has a chance at finals is Van Ness and that’s no easy task. possibly Bartlett because it’s a weak weight and no..he’s not beating Yianni
  8. Nah..no drama. Just responding to others. You should probably stick to predicting Michigan since that’s your squad. It’s clear you don’t k ow what’s going on in State College
  9. My reading is fine. Go look what you wrote. You said something to the effect of “the others..same.” Meaning I take it all of your unknowns you’d be giving out cigars. what is your benchmark to give out cigars for the PSU unknowns?
  10. Weren’t you the one that just said you’d be giving out cigars if any of them got to finals? or what is your benchmark for giving out cigars? AA’s?
  11. Yep and the anti PSU sentiment is that guys that haven’t wrestled a full season in college won’t compete for National Championships and it’s unheard of for freshman/true freshman to compete for national titles because they’re not “proven.” Taylor, Nico, Nolf, Bo, Cenzo, Hall, Starocci, Brooks, Suriano (if not for injury) all were in or won national championship matches as freshman but according to “the board faithful” they are just “unknowns”
  12. That’s fair. And if it was Iowa or Mizzou they were predicting a tie, I would have just sat out of the discussion. But there’s no way a full lineup PSU ties a full lineup Cornell
  13. I’ve already posted. Switch 125 and 141 to PSU and 157 if Haines goes and that’s my prediction. It will be either a 12 or 18 point swing from the “tie” prediction.
  14. I guess this will be another case where people like you will only realize it when the seasons over. You really think 125, 141, 149, 157 (Haines) and 165 are unknowns?? If so, I can’t argue with you. if you know talent, you know it. If you don’t, you sit and wait till end of year and then admit it. Either way it will play itself out. but you all can convince yourself of PSU/Cornell tying in a dual
  15. Generally Cael goes with the best guy unless there’s not much seperation. And generally that decision is made in 2nd half. Haines skipped his last year of high school and has been in the room for a year already. I’m a believer of going with your best guys while they’re healthy and use a redshirt if you’re not the best guy or injury. I love the new redshirt rules and it will be interesting how these teams use the new rules.
  16. I remember it clearly. Cornell wrestled GREAT and it still wasn’t enough and that’s not a knock on Cornell. But to predict a tie this year when PSU has a deaper team with less holes than last year doesn’t make much sense to me.
  17. Just switch 125 and 141 and that’s a 12 point swing..that being said. If Haines goes, that’s an 18 point swing.
  18. The only “pick ‘em” match is at 157 (and that’s if Haines doesn’t go). All the rest are pretty convincing favorites one way or the the other. I can make a case that Facundo/Ramirez will be a pick ‘em but won’t since it’s too early and I want to see more from Facundo so I’ll give the edge to Ramirez for now Good luck to any Cornell 125 not named Vito beating Robbie. Also..Cornella over Bartlett is a joke. I realize the old forum had mostly anti PSU slants. Hoping this one a little more realistic
  19. If you say so Don’t they have a shot to wrestle in those Duals again this year? Cornell not going to tie PSU, don’t kid yourself
  20. Lol. Yeah sure..
