  1. Took this picture on my way home from work Friday. I would say he doesn't get it.
  2. And yet your screen name is Agave?
  3. You feel the same way about alcoholics, Agave?
  4. That Duke D looked the real thing last night. Too bad they lost their QB on their last offensive play. Without him they may struggle on O, and fail to show how good they otherwise are. Now for wrestling to follow suit.
  5. But isn't that just a naming convention? In this bracket the real #1 seed is the medalist. The #1 listed is really the #2. The #2 listed is really the #3. Etc.
  6. Nice. The thing I like about my setup is there is a thick steel plate on top to reflect heat down and there is a basket behind the stone that you fill with wood (you can see the flames in my pic). The wood spikes the temp to 600 -700 degrees.
  7. Better yet. Could've stayed inside his head. The encouraged/rewarded lack of filter is one of the bad side effects of social media.
  8. This is like performance art now
  9. Saying PEDs don't help is inaccurate. With PEDs an athlete can train longer and harder while recovering faster allowing them to perfect their technique. The reality of all sports, but especially combat sports, is they wreak havoc on the body. Recovery is a massive part of optimal performance. And PEDs give an enormous advantage there.
  10. I love it when we get to the recap portion of a thread.
  11. Let's say he did hear something...what a douchebag for sharing. This is where social media suuuuuuuuucks.
  12. The door is always open. Just don't tell my wife I am issuing blanket invites on the internet.
  13. Not smoking, and not meat strictly. But, has anyone else tried one of these pizza oven attachments for their charcoal grill? It makes amazing pizzas in minutes. My wife sets up a toppings bar. She and the kids crank out crusts and our guests make their own pizzas, while I cook them all. Very social way to cook.
  14. Italian sausages over charcoal this weekend courtesy of my daughter and son in law. They bought, I cook.
  15. This sounds like it isn't working. He goes from televised events in the minor leagues down to non-televised events and the reason given by the guy who pays his salary is he is too busy? What can he possibly be busy with given that he bowed out of his most recent real wrestling event? It doesn't add up.
  16. Pretty wild that Iowa is not on the list.
  17. I used to read his posts. I just skip over them now.
  18. None. The answer is none. Every Junior Freestyle World Champ is a Junior Freestyle WORLD CHAMP.
  19. You think a guy who goes to Worlds and stays in the back room while his assistants man the corner really celebrates other's failures? I do not.
  20. I thought you were kidding when I first read this, but nope. https://cdn.uww.org/s3fs-public/2020-02/03_draw_blockchain_explanations.pdf?VersionId=4gWn7NLIg3LIRX1zcRyzCUM4leX6Zu.8
  21. Anyone who read the article that you posted, but obviously didn't read.
  22. Yes, it was Oklahoma State (read the wrong column), but the 50% was accurate. Yes, Intermat does include freshman.
  23. Using Intermat's pre-season rankings and the average placement and advancement points from the 16 seed and 33 seed eras (2014 - 2023), but without any attempt to guess at bonus points, PSU's expected score is more than double (109% higher than) the next closest rival, Cornell. This is fairly unprecedented. The only times a first place team doubled (or more) the second place team were in the late 1930's. But scoring was so different back then as to make the comparison meaningless. When the 1997 Iowa team set the team scoring mark, they "only" beat Minnesota by 50%. And the modern record for spread between first and second is 88% by the 1986 Iowa team. The scores above assume that every team will perform to the average of recent history and does not account for any over or under performance that may occur.
