    The emotional spiraling right now is amazing. You'd think Trump was getting trounced in polling right rather than just losing at the moment. All it'll take is Trump to start running a disciplined camphahahaha jk. It's honestly hard to believe how poorly the Trump campaign has handled literally everything in the last 2 months. Also why is anyone watching the DNC or the RNC? It's a party with little substance. Catch the relevant video clips tomorrow.

    Having watched the tournament, we were only really in gold contention at two weights in this tournament, 57 kg and 86 kg. That's a bummer.

    I guess. We may be arguing semantics here, but that killer instinct you talked about is that kind of difference that I didn't really think was there, but it's so key. And in the end, sports is a results business, fair or not. Dake is an amazing wrestler, but Burroughs was just a bit different; I know it may seem to some like I'm diminishing him, or joining in the anti-NLWC thing that's popped up, but I'm not!

    I'm just admitting my own mistakes. I believed taht the only reason Dake lost was because of the qualification procedure that kept giving Burroughs byes. I thought there would have been more splitting of the appearances without that. I think I was wrong.

    I would say that many, me included, thought Dake was just as good as Burroughs, and I think we know that's not true. He's still awesome, but this does reaffirm the specialness of prime Burroughs.

    I can not imagine having to do all that right after losing while every other guy up there just won.

    Yazdani started calling for injury time in the first period when it was 1-0. It would be weird to be faking an injury there.

    Brooks with a very controlled and dominant match.

    At just about any point in the match, Lee controlled center throughout. In the end, the match was razor close and was decided in the margins, and the fact that the match had a period where Spencer was put on the clock and scored to avoid giving up the point, and Higuchi never was doesn't sit right with me, given how controlling center is usually called. It is what it is, Higuchi is obviously a worthy champ.

    My wife hired a guy who is personal friends with Brooks, and after he.found out I was into wrestling, he got me the shirt. I love the Spencer shirt on HWC though.
