Iowa strung together something like 11 + 12 in a row mostly under Gable. Would've been around 30 in a row from around the mid-1970s through the early 2000s around Mocco's time, but Iowa missed in 3 tournaments. So, something like 27 out of 30. I'm sure Oklahoma State must be in there under Gallagher. @Jason Bryant probably has all this info in his wrestling almanac.

Within that , 1979-2001, 22 out of 23. 1989 broke up that stretch, best placers were Melchiore in 3rd (lost to champ O'Day in semis 8-3) and Tom Brands in 4th (lost to champ Cross 1-0 in semis and then defending champ Martin 6-5 in 3rd place match)

Guess PSU has already passed it if the info was correct because it stopped in 2024 and they had a couple in 2025 to add to it
