Will Meyer Shapiro be a NCAA champ?

I love this kid's relentless attacking style. He reminds me of a bigger version of Jax.  However he occasionally takes a head scratching loss and of course there is the worry about concussions.

Do you think he will ever be a NCAA champ?  I am rooting for him this year and would love to see him vs PJ Duke.

Ever? Maybe. This year? No. Too many horses that are too strong for him. When he goes into his incredible scrambles one of them is sure to lock onto a leg and prevent his finishing his move. If he wants to win a Natty, his best bet might be to switch spots with Joy and try his luck at '49 next year.

He has the drive but not the health.

He has a chance and I hope he can stay healthy.  He has a lot of tricks and talent.

Sadly, I don't think he will ever win one. Wasted potential hes not going to win this year, and I highly doubt next year.

I’m not sure. He’s running out of chances. I think he has this year and next. Health issues (more acute than chronic) and head scratching losses seem to plague him. And neither bodes well in a 3day tournament like NCAAs. We’ll find out in starting in 9 days.
