How about this scenario, they redshirt both Blaze & Davis, Go LL at 125, Ono at 133, Desmond at 141.  Then, possibly also redshirting PJ and plug Henkle in at 174.  It will be interesting to see how it all works out.

With his RS being pulled, pretty sure Davis is the guy for the post-season. However, Desmond does have one more RS date left on his FR campaign. Be interesting to see if PSU uses that date this Friday against Mendes.

Yep, I assume when the pulled Davis's shirt they thought he was the best option they had.

Desmond seems really good, but if I thought Davis was better before, I don't think an OT win over this version of Ragusin is changing my mind.

When playing the red shirt scenario, one has to consider 2028 Olympics.  Guys with true Olympic aspirations may want to use just one RS during that season, or maybe 2 RS seasons in a row?  Too many scenarios to bother with.

Gotta qualify for that ORS in the prior season or offseason, though. Idk if Ono will have to qualify the same way, but I'm thinking if he isn't in the lineup next year his eligibility window will probably close. That assumes that he'll be training back in Japan for 2027-28, though others have said he'll still be in the PSU room at that time.
