Just throw a different answer out there. 2021-2022 Stillwater OK had Cael Hughes, Dee Lockett, Kael Voinovich, and Angelo Ferrari. I'm not sure what any of them were ranked, however.

And Beric Jordan? I believe he had a respectable class ranking.

Not sure on that. He may still have been in Ohio at that point. @H82Lose would probably know.

He was at graham until his junior year I believe

As of today, Flo's rankings have McCort's 3 as the top 3 P4P wrestlers in the country.

Time will tell if they achieve the same level of accomplishment as, for example, the Davidson trio, but if you're evaluating "best 3" from the standpoint of how good they are while in high school, I think you have to put the McCort trio as #1.  I'm not sure if another high school has ever had 3 #1 ranked guys at their weight at the same time (at least not based on fishbane's list), let alone the top 3 P4P.

Honestly it wouldn't shock me if this McCort team (on the strength of these 3) placed in the top 20 as a team in NCAAs in March, if they were allowed to compete.

I believe they have 4 kids on the roster that have won college opens and Miller and Herring are not in that 4. I think Miller would pretty comfortably win 1-2 matches at NCAA this year with a ceiling to maybe get on the podium with the right draw although I would probably predict r16. Jax AA's at minimum at 133/141 and I think Bo probably AA's at 141 I do think he is small at 149 so hypothetically as an NCAA lineup it would look something like.

125: Eli Herring/Austin Carfley/Sheamus Regan DNQ
133: Jax  AA 1-6 (cant see him losing to anyone aside from Blaze,Davino,Ayala,Byrd,Crookham I would pick him against most if not all)
141: Sam Herring 1-2 r24(that may be ambitious)
149: Bo Bassett 3-r12 (Would not pick him over shayne or Henson probaly a favoirte against Frost,Wasilewski, gioffre,Stiles,Jamison and lachlan feel like toss ups to me)
157: Jackson Butler DNQ
165: Melvin Miller 7-r24 (Do not see him beating Dee,Mitch,Caliedno,Brignola,Blaze,Minto I think he falls into the Garvin, ruiz,Downey,Scoles tier
174: O'Farril 0-2 (I think he could potentially qualify)
184: Pensiero DNQ
197: Not sure DNQ
285: Caleb Rodriguez DNQ

Not sure how many points that lineup would score

Yeah we're on the same page. I was thinking Jax places 1st-5th, Bo somewhere from R12 to as high as maybe 4th, and Miller can with a match or two, maybe R16.  I don't think I'd give a match to anyone else, but that's still enough to place to 20.  (Last year, 21 points would've been the cutoff... e.g. ASU was top 20 with one AA -- Schultz 3rd -- and Maryland was top 25, just outside the top 20, with Jaxon Smith taking 6th.)
