Basset vs Raney who's 1 3 years in the making

The rematch we never got to see. Raney took this one at fargo in 2022 via fall in a match he was leading in. Both guys have improved a ton since then. Have to favor Bassett in this one but I was super impressed with Raneys pace in his fargo final against Wolbert and Wolbert certainly was the beneficiary of freestyle exchanges in that one. O/U on points for this one has to be about 25.5 wondering your guys thoughts.

I think it's a pretty even match up skills-wise so I give the edge to Bo as he's a weight class bigger and it will be at his weight. I'm confident it will be a war, but I'm curious how the Iowa crowd will receive him.

conceptually its hard for me to grasp that Jayden is going to wrestle an event at 150 and his twin brother is going to make 121 3 weeks before that.

I don't think we'll be bored in this match, that's for sure. I think this will be a good test of Bo's scrambling ability as both of the Raney's are quick to put you on your back after a mistake during a flurry of action. At the same time, it seems like Raney can get sloppy at times and let guys in relatively easy which is a big part of the reason he wrestles so many matches with ridiculous combined scores. I think it's an interesting contrast in styles and I'd be surprised if another match is announced that I'd be more excited to see. Think we could get James vs Miller? Have they ever wrestled before?

If they do not make James vs Miller, I think that is a huge, missed opportunity, I do not believe they have ever wrestled.

who do you lean in that match? My immediate thought is Melvin, but Jayden is so good hip to hip and is good at getting there and I am not sure how Melvin deals with that.

James ever so slightly, I think he's gained some strength over the past year in addition to just being an amazing wrestler. I might wake up tomorrow and lean Melvin though he's probably a bit quicker than James.
