Khaniev is unreal good not upset with Dee at all for dropping that one but he needs to keep his cool in matches. Giving up a caution and 1 there was all but the nail in the coffin, he was absolutely still in that match before that. I also think he is pretty undersized for 74kg right now.

I swear Azerbaijan has more wrestlers entered than any other nation; feels like they've had someone on one of the mats constantly

haha! I remember we were at senior worlds in Kazakhstan in 2019 and I swear there were 3 Kazak wrestlers at every weight, and all had cupcake draws until at the semis- they were on every mat all the time! Kazakhstan ended up second in the team race that year behind Russia but ahead of both Iran and USA. The whole thing had total home cookin' FILA vibes.

I remember those draws - extremely questionable

FS - 97 kg    1/2 Final    76    (UWW) Magomedgadzhi Magomedovich MAGOMEDOV (2)    (IND) Vishal VISHAL (9)

FS - 125 kg    1/2 Final    79    (AZE) Yusif DURSUNOV (11)    (IRI) Abolfazl Mohammad MOHAMMAD NEZHAD (17)

USA matches hi-lited in red... the blue hi-lited match is of particular interest for Lockett.

If Khaniev defeats Yamaguchi, Lockett will be drawn into the repechage rounds towards a bronze medal.

2-1 lead at the break for PJ really nice limp arm on the edge. This kid feels like he will break.
