Well big day. Final positioned himself where he wants to be. Extremely tough fight. Absolutely love the way he handles himself. Big concern his chin.

Really hope he wins tonight. He wins probably title fight next.

Was tough to watch. I never seen him losing ever. Like black cloud. Okozach is correct. Just painful to watch knowing he was dominating.

This was an absolute devastating set back. Not sure where he goes from here?

Calling it dominating is a stretch.  Pico had two takedowns but couldn't keep him down.  Standing up was fairly even until the knockout.  Plus that was only four minutes.

He's only 28, so I don't see why it's over for him. He just has a tendency to get knocked out, so he'll probably always be a journeyman.  Wouldn't be surprised if he gets into the top 10 or top 5 at some point though if UFC keeps him around.

Was it a surprise that they already had him that close to a title fight? Would think they’d start him out in the UFC with a little easier fight

His original July 26th opponent was even higher ranked. They threw him to the wolves in my opinion.

I was really hoping for Pico to win this one.  His durability has been a big problem for him since the beginning.  I've seen fighters have more durability going up a weight class but he was rocked in his Pro debut at lightweight too.  At this point he reminds me of Amir Khan.

They know how good he is. As much as he likes striking it's his Achilles heel. Once standing anything can happen. Main event khazmit would not take chance.

If he didn't know how strike. He be doing what khazmat did take down ground and pound and be going for title.

Tucked like the guy.

Oh paper he should be the best. Even though anyone would've went down from that elbow (created from his overpursuit), he still doesn't have the jaw needed of a champion. Even while he was pummeling his opponent with body shots, one quick punch he took resulted in him immediately grabbing him like he was wobbled and panicked. Most guys can take multiple hard shots before reacting like that.
