Someone asked for the YouTube link to where I posted 80s & 90s PA state finals videos ... still on YouTube!   I can't find the post or who last asked to reference - always fun to re-watch some of Kolat's matches or find your favorite wrestler or that guy you couldn't beat!

Who was your nemesis or idol from the 80s/90s?

there were all VHS recorded from PBS and uploaded during COVID to save them online!

Adrian - I've used your YouTube channel for quite a few years.  Much appreciated. There's a particular match of a family member that we like to troll once in a blue moon at family gatherings.  Having family members shouting "stalling" on your kin is a blast.

Holy sh*t this is your account? I have watched plenty of your videos. I especially enjoyed your 1999 PIAA videos. That's the year I graduated so I wrestled some of those guys over the years. It reminds me of one thing that the legendary Willie Saylor and I have in common, a guy named Harley Anderson (PIAA champ in 1999) whipped both of our asses at one point.

I took a job transfer to PA from Long Island in 2000 and attended every state tournament since then. We did the same thing during the.New York State tourney back in the day. Saw Nickerson win all 5 states titles and Jantzen win all of 4 of his. Before PIAA sold the rights to FLO I’d purchase both videos of AA and AAA championships and still watch many of them even to this day. Nice to learn about your site sir. I’ll definitely check it out. Thanks!!! 🤼‍♂️

I think it's criminal that they sold the rights to the PIAA state finals to Flo. PCN used to air them all for free.

JC - I already made a big stink about that in this forum years ago and got my head handed to me from those siding with FLO. I’m with all the PA seniors who enjoyed watching the immediate replay later in the day from the comfort of their homes. Im on record personally visited PIAA headquarters to share the public’s view of this money motivated move - I’m only 15 minutes away. Fell on deaf ears and it’s one of the reasons Im not the greatest fan of FLO.

I have never been a fan of Flo and their illegal bate and switch tactics. The whole PCN thing has always just been icing on the sh*t cake that is Flo. Pennsylvania residents should be able to watch all PIAA broadcasts for free on PCN no matter the sport. I'm not even a senior, I am 44 years old, and I think selling the rights to Flo was awful. I can't believe a bunch of people here sided with Flo, but then again maybe they are Flo subscribers and don't live in PA so they welcomed the opportunity to watch the PIAA finals.

Way back in 1984, the broadcast happened about week or so after states - had to be in front of our only tv with the wired remote on the VCR ready to push record when it started - because they cut to fundraisers (like a telethon) in the middle of the event multiple times to collect donations, I would have to pause then resume recording a bunch of times in the 6 hour window for AAA and AA ...

A couple years later, we modernized the VCR -- ability to set a recording date/time, just hoped and prayed the power didn't go out or the VCR would lose it's time!

DAMN - first world problems back the 1980s

PCN did not “used to air them for free”. That would mean you could pick it up over an antenna. You needed to pay for a cable subscription to view PCN. Almost like you need to pay for a subscription to view Flo.

I think you and everybody else understood what I meant.
