Congrats to real woods.  Not everyone can make it to final x before peaking in freestyle.   Great job!

It used to be... that NCAA college champs and AA's that were quite good at TD could transition to the international style and nab a medal or two at the Worlds & Olympics. Usually attending training camps w/ the team and have intensive work on what & what NOT to do in freestyle. (A lot w/o extensive knowledge of the FS rules.)

Obviously those times have changed... but some are quick learners.

I think a lot of kids come up wrestling a not more freestyle now and the ones that don’t have a tough time transitioning because the other guys have more years training that style.
