Those losses have absolutely nothing to do with how he stylistically matches up against Ayala.

Lmao. Those losses are an indicator of what level he is right now (or was in March), that's how wrestling works. By losing to those kind of guys (and winning only 1 match at NCAAs), we KNOW FOR A FACT that he is not on the level Ayala is currently (or at least was in March). 

Does that mean Figs can't win the match against Ayala? Absolutely not. But it would be an UPSET.

You can clown emoji me all you want but you're displaying a lack of wrestling knowledge.  The year Figs beat Ayala he took losses to Provo, got majored by Sprately, and even lost to Renteria.

IT WAS AN UPSET THEN TOO!! Figs was seeded 8th and Ayala was seeded 3rd. 

So based on your logic, Brenden McCrone should be picked to beat Luke Lilledahl every match moving forward based on the fact that McCrone pinned him in the dual?

I believe figs and Ayala are 1-1 all time Ayala beat him at who's 1 at the time it was a big upset and then figs beat him in the national finals in 2024. I think there was something clearly not right with Figs last year. Yes we have seen various in his performance but not exactly to that degree. I do question if he will be big enough for 133 but we shall see.
