I recall a Pa kid who wrestled 125 in the B1G and was routinely noted on the old forums to have been thrown to the wolves his 1st year and he ended up doing ok. With this W under his belt, maybe Steen just needs a semi rhyming nickname to achieve AA status down the road?

Who are you referring to?

Would be interesting to hear from the experienced wrestlers or coaches how you might guide a wrestler how to navigate a match with Lee.  I cannot think of much.  Maybe: do not choose down, better 1 than 2 if you are on top, and use your best control ties on your feet to slow him down and (in theory) work your own offense.  Doubt any strategy works much better than: "try to have fun out there and stay relaxed!"

Go to center of mat to shake hands, face palm yourself in the forehead for being silly enough to attempt this, go into concussion protocol, do not return regardless of concussion findings.

Backpack Lizak. I'm not really suggesting Steen will actually achieve similar success, just having some fun with the notion of 'thrown to the wolves' as that was a thing on the old forums Lizak's 1st year.

He tries hard but he’s basically a 103 pounder wrestling 125.

I would venture a guess that he might find luck sooner if there were still a 118 class.  Hoping he can grow into the weight - some signs of that!
