At this point I doubt Lee has ever been healthy since his Junior year of high school.

He’s obviously next level, but the olympics really made me think his injuries are starting to catch up with him.  That was the first time I’ve seen him look legitimately tired of wrestling.

The Olympics were the first time you've seen him look gassed?

I thought it was VERY clear his Sr year...well before Ramos upset him that his conditioning was not great.

I don't think there's...a chance Ramos beats him if he's not gassed in the 3rd period. I think he looks fine now. He lost a 3-2 match to Ono.

I really struggle to see this match-up being close. Lillendahl is a stud and a great young Wrestler...

Tired OF wrestling, not from wrestling.

Tired of wrestling as in ready for the next stage of life, not finding joy in the process anymore.

His demeanor hasn’t been enthusiastic around competition for a long time.

He takes losses poorly but I'm guessing you haven't seen any of his recent interviews because he has spoken multiple times about wanting to compete more frequently and to test himself against the best. Do you think someone tired of wrestling would compete 3 times over the course of one month like Lee did during this past February, including bumping up to face the returning 61kg world champ?

For now it is like Bobby Douglas vs Dan Gable. Bobby beat him a number of times.

A few years and a more mature Gable & we know how good he became.

Lee is ahead of him now & it will be a few years before that changes.
